Keller ISD is where my boys are growing, learning, and building the foundation for their futures. As a husband, father of two, including a Keller ISD student, and longtime community volunteer, I want every child to receive an excellent education in a district our community can trust and support. Before I ever asked for your vote, I showed up on our campuses, stepped into our classrooms as a substitute teacher, listened to educators and families, and worked to better understand the successes and challenges facing our schools. My career as an aerospace professional and pilot has taught me to make difficult decisions, solve complex problems, manage resources responsibly, and unite people around a common mission. But this campaign is not about my résumé; it is about your children, our teachers, your tax dollars, and the trust our district must earn. That is why I am running for the Keller ISD Board of Trustees: to put Students First, pursue Academic Excellence, practice Fiscal Responsibility, strengthen Transparency, and focus on Restoring Trust. I will show up, listen, ask thoughtful questions, and make every decision according to one standard: what best serves Keller ISD students, families, educators, and our entire community.
Every decision made by the Keller ISD Board of Trustees should begin with one clear question: How does this serve our students? I will prioritize safe schools, strong classrooms, student well-being, and meaningful opportunities for every child. Policies, programs, and spending decisions must be evaluated according to their measurable impact on students. Adult preferences, political agendas, and administrative convenience should never come before the needs of the children our district exists to serve.
Keller ISD must set high academic expectations and provide every student with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed. I will support strong core instruction, measurable academic goals, effective classroom resources, career and technical education, and early intervention for struggling students. We must celebrate achievement, identify areas needing improvement, and hold district leadership accountable for results. Academic excellence should not be a slogan. It should be reflected in every classroom, on every campus, and in every student’s opportunity to reach their full potential.
Every tax dollar entrusted to Keller ISD should be managed carefully, transparently, and with a direct connection to student success. I will prioritize classroom resources, responsible budgeting, long-term financial planning, and careful review of administrative spending. The district must distinguish between what is necessary and what is merely desirable. Families deserve leaders who respect the sacrifices behind every tax payment, protect the district’s financial stability, and ensure spending decisions deliver meaningful value for students, teachers, and taxpayers.
Keller ISD families deserve to know what decisions are being made, how those decisions are reached, and how their tax dollars are being used. I will support accessible public information, clear communication, open discussion, and timely answers to community questions. Important decisions should not surprise the families they affect. Transparency requires more than meeting legal requirements. It requires district leaders to communicate honestly, explain their reasoning, welcome public input, and give the community a meaningful opportunity to participate before major decisions are finalized.
Trust is earned when leaders consistently listen, communicate honestly, keep their commitments, and take responsibility for results. I will work to strengthen the relationship between Keller ISD and the community by treating parents, educators, students, and taxpayers as valued partners. Disagreement should be met with respect, questions should receive clear answers, and concerns should never be dismissed. Restoring trust will require steady leadership, accountability, and decisions grounded in what best serves students rather than politics, personalities, or personal agendas.
Have questions or suggestions? I would love to hear from you!
